Actually, all national flags should be flown at the same height, no matter the soil.

Thank you for sharing your opinion.

In this country, established flag protocol says differently.

It has been my objective the Stars and Stripes is flown with pride, flies correctly according to US Flag Code, and is retired with dignity when her service life has expired.

§175. Position and manner of display
(g) When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.
