Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero "he'll go despite NYPD rejection"
WABC-TV ^ | September 19, 2007 | WABC

A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.

The source says regardless of the NYPD's rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran's president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

Tell him he is allowed to go to the UN but not allowed to use US Soil or airspace in order to get there. If he tries, it will be considered an act of enemy agression and dealt with accordingly.

I’m talking about ordinary AMERICANS - getting down their [on Ahmadanutjob's level] and protesting [like the idiots respond to every problem in the Arab street over there].

Sure. No, thanks.

Which is why you don't understand the difference between knowing when to start throwing punches in a fist fight, and when to pull them.

You have no experience with the aftermath of actual action.

"I am not committing violence, merely inciting it. But if I had a relative who died at the WTC, I don't know what I would do. I do not think I could handle seeing this Hitler standing on their ashes."

The GOE and core FR rally folks are mostly Veterans and their families...highly disciplined and not prone to emotion. If there is any protesting to be done, maybe you had best step aside and let them handle this along with the authorities.

A big angry mob (or worse, a small rag-tag mob) of flag waving Americans just reinforces Ahmadjenhdsadf 's rhetoric that Americans are bloodthirsty oppressors.

I think it's a stretch to call a bunch of flag-waving Americans a 'blood-thirsty mob', s_p.

Read and calm. I called nobody any such thing.

Ahmedajob's rhetoric about the Great and Little Satans is clear. A BIG ANGRY MOB plays to his propaganda of personally putting him at the center of the struggle against the evil oppressors.

Why play his game?

Letting him go reduces its Muslim Propaganda value.

I the UN headquarters was abroad, it would me a much more out of control mess working for the adoption of world socialist government. Having it here gives us some modest restraint over the worst of its excesses.

With it here, some travel by the most vile of the member states is bound to be sickening. Grandstanding has been done for over forty years beginning with Che and Fido Fidel. I feel there is little that a President can do that doesn’t leave him open to games in the foreign press. Instead, the grandstander will often oerplay their hand. There is still world consideration for the WTC crimes and “I’m-A-Nut-Job” will hurt his image by the games he plays and further isolate himslef even within the Arab world.

Why can’t they? He is a visitor with a Passport to this country. If he is eyed as a threat, yes, they can STOP him.

Freepers can be a nucleus around which others can be drawn in this, to focus on the Iranian Hitler, his statements and policies of his country.

"Why not shut down the site for construction/safety reasons on that day?"

Because we shouldn't have to resort to some back-handed way of dealing with this. His ass doesn't belong anywhere near that site, and if our Government caves in on this I will lose all respect I have left for this administration.

“If he tries this, the NYPD should arrest his hairy back side and immediately deport him back to Iran.”

This would never become an issue if Rudy was still Mayor of NYC. Now the Mayor is a weasel named Bloomberg.

They need to call his bluff. All of these Jihadist leaders are big at giving orders and making grandiose speeches. Few of them are willing to be martyrs themselves.

lol you really are in cloud cuckoo land.

The difference between one of our protests and one of theirs is that ours don’t end in violence, the intent is not violence.

As for ‘no experience’ - who do you think you are? You don’t even know me. The thought you could judge me with any credible insight is absurd and laughable.

A peaceful protest with thousands of patriotic and decent Americans is simply not comparable to thousands of state sponsored islamo nazi supporting yobs. The notion that it might be is an insult - an insult also to thousands of freepers who devote hours of their time to be involved in protest.

I would suggest to you that based on what you have said, that you really shouldn’t be on a site like this which is all about grass routes activism.

>>If he tries this, the NYPD should arrest his hairy back side and immediately deport him back to Iran.<<

I disagree. We have freedom of movement in this country despite recent government actions. The Soviets used to let visitors in but only to see what the government selected. We were different letting visitors see the good and bad.

It is not the right of the local police to decide who can see what sites.

The problem is that he is a war criminal several times over and this should be handled at the international or federal level. He is responsible for missile raining down on Israeli civilians launched by terrorists. But sadly we have little international currency left.

50% chance Abominajad doesn’t even come to NYC, IMO. It happened back in May he couldn’t get his Visas cleared or something and he cancelled out.
