I wonder if Dr Sowell, and the rest of the Dincons in DC, have ever bother to look at a map. They seem to be completely oblivious to Iraq’s strategic value as the central position of the M.E.

If I had to choose who to believe, MNJohnnie or Dr. Sowell, it would take me less than a nano-second to conclude that Dr. Sowell could figure out the facts a whole lot better than MNJohnnie.

I might disagree with you on other stuff, but you are correct about ‘ol Adolph. I always put it that “he came to power legally” in the Germany of that time. He was not voted in. (a little problem at the Reichstag helped him consolidate power, of course)

You haven't a clue, Sowell. Stick to writing childrens books. Try adding "Islam" into your thought process, Sowell. Then maybe many of the worlds conflicts past and present will all become clear to you. There is plenty to blame the west on even when adding Islam into your blame machine, however most of the wests failures have to do with 20th century politicians failure to understand the history of these regions and the never ending wars because of certain elements in it.

As far as Africa goes, try blaming that silly African tribalism and racisim that never fails to bring a thriving African nation back down into the pits of poverty and starvation when a darkie decides things could be even better if they murdered and boot out whitey, steal all his possessions, destroy the farms and other businesses whitey built that feed the country and provide employment and turn it into a tribal dictatorship.
Then blame whitey and the west for the failed nation.

Don't abrogate the koran. Allah is not a word for "god" Allah is the NAME of the Islamic god (ilah). As the Koran states:

Qur'an 20:8 "Allah! There is no Ilah (god) save Him. His are the most beautiful Names. To Him belong the most beautiful attributes."

Qur'an 20:14 "Verily, I am Allah. No Ilah (god) may be worshiped but I. So serve you Me, and perform regular prostration prayer for My praise. Verily the Hour is coming. I am almost hiding it from Myself."

Now, here, we see "Allah"(AKA Satan) talking to the Jews. Here he admits he is not the same God as the Christian/Jewish God of the bible, and tries to tell them to worship him (Satan, the deceiver):

Qur'an 20:96 "Now look at your ilah (god), of whom you have become devoted. We will (burn) it and scatter it in the sea! But your Ilah (god) is Allah: there is no ilah (god) but He. Thus do We relate to you some stories of what happened before from Our own Remembrance."

Don't assist MSM in bluring the lines and their attempts to make the true God of the bible to be the same one as the evil sadistic one of the Koran.

As far as “nation building” I think history shows that it only works when you totally distroy the place first. Distroy it to the point that the enemy no longer has the will to fight and instead is looking for his/her next meal.

In other words, it only works when there’s nowhere to go but up.
