Don't you realize that's a picture of a man that is just doing this because he's wanting the glory and he is going to pull out of the race soon anyway after claiming that he's "given it his best shot, yada-yada-yada"..?

This is the man who is so ill he'd rather spend his remaining hours on Earth out on the hot campaign trail amongst a bunch of strangers than spend quality time with his children and trophy wife.

This must all be absolutely true, because we've been ASSURED of it by posters on this very forum as not only representative of rational thought, but gospel truth donchaknow. (Never mind about those posters who said Fred wouldn't announce, they don't matter one little bit, nosiree not one teensy-weensy little bit...:^)
