Holding someone criminally accountable for the actions of a dangerous dog is a fairly new concept.

See above. Holding individuals accountable for many crimes doesn’t eliminate the crime totally. Aren’t you being a bit unreasonable?
I don’t think I’m being unreasonable. There is no constitutional right to keep a pit bull, and I value human life more than pit bulls.
