That's the thing with left wing Socialists and some members of the extreme religious right. They are naturally miserable people who will never be happy until everyone conforms to their world view.

The idea that somebody, somewhere is enjoying a steak and cigarette haunts progressives. They must cringe when they pass a McDonalds or hear Sean Hannity advertising Ruths Chris steakhouse.
