Why is a six-year old sleeping on the couch on a school night?
Wondering that myself, a good mother would have put the little thing to bed.

agreed - another article states she had 2 sisters - who knows what the situation was, but a child sleeping on a sofa does not indict a mother. Maybe the living room was closer to mom than the bedroom was?!?
