Too bad the Mustang II never caught on as it was a fun little car to drive. Even with the standard V6 it had some kick to it.

Too bad that Mustang people remembered those Mach I Mustangs with 351’s and 427’s in them....

The Ford Probe was supposed to be a Mustang too. Fortunately, Ford decided that, like the Mustang II, nothing good happens when you brand an sport import beater w/ the Mustang name.

The replacement for the Ford Mustang was based on a shortened verson of the Fairmount chassis, which has to be close to being on this list too.
