You’re right. I have expensive dress shoes that make more noise than flip flops. I wear them all summer. I either wear dressy ones that are not flat and have sequins on the straps or Rainbows which cost about $45.00 a pair. I get regular pedicures and my toenails are always painted. I am always getting compliments from other women on both my lime green and my aquamarine flip flops. I think some of these people need to get a life and worry about something that's really important - like the war against militant Islam!

I wear flip flops and paint my toenails, too. I get a mixed reaction, like the guy in the airport restroom stall next to mine who was tapping his toes like all get out.
