Personally I think that the GOP contenders ought to refuse to debate until Thompson enters. But that’s just me. It’s a shame, Fred— you’re missing a chance to win me over, and ads and appearances on Leno aren’t going to do it. I need to see you stack up against the other candidates head to head.

I’ll be here to watch the candidates that decided to show up.

I can understand how you feel. I have met him too and believe it or not, it has empowered me. I just think it’s still early in the game and the word is getting out. It’s just a matter of time. Give it a few more months before tossing him overboard. People are just now starting to kind of pay attention to the presidential candidates. Even my closest friends aren’t even thinking about who they want to vote for.
