It’s unfortunate that this thread has been moved out of “breaking news,” as it’s a VERY important story, IMO.
Instead, we get two different threads about the same Larry Craig story in “breaking news.”

I feel like I am living in some weird, parallel universe.
Is it that when Europe is mentioned, interest instantly falls to zero.
This is the most important terrorism story in a long time...very menacing...and happening as we approach 9/11.
I know that "plotters busted" is a tired story line but they usually do not have massive amounts of explosives on hand.
What am I missing here?

These guys seemed to be moving their material to assemble their bombs. This would put their attack approximately on 9/11.
Hard not to suppose that other strikes elsewhere -- perhaps in the U.S. -- might not also be in the works.
There has been a lot of arrests since 2001, but the media does not pay attention.

NYT and WP had this at the top of their pages with steady updates. Jim Lehrer News Hour led with it tonight and I expect the MSM networks to do the same.
When did conservatives become less interested than the MSM in serious terrorism stories? (Meanwhile, the thread about that bimbo, golddigger, former Playmate woman who showed up dead -- blanking on her name -- climbed into the 15 thousands...go figure.)

Brian Ross just said that authorities are saying this may have been planned to happen on the anniv. of 9/11.
Paris Hilton. Don’t feel bad - her threads trumped wars, natural disasters, politics...but there I repeat myself...
not sure if this has been posted, but Ross just reported that they were first spotted on New Years eve looking at military facilities, and have been under surveillance since. He said so much so that authorities were able to swap dangerous chemicals for non dangerous ones.
The mere fact that I can name her without looking it up is a pretty sad statement. Now, about Lindsay Lohan...
