We have an example of why I am wary of our Judiciary, given their role in furthering Terri's death. Wagglebee gives a glimpse in this thread.

When Rosa Acuna learned she was six weeks to eight weeks pregnant, she asked if she was carrying a baby at that stage. Her doctor replied that her fetus was "not a living human being," but rather "just tissue at this time." As a result, Rosa agreed to an abortion.

She suffered emotional distress upon discovering later that the abortion had indeed killed an existing human being. While expressing sympathy for Rosa's "deep pain," the court dismissed her claim against the doctor.

The court conceded that doctors must disclose all information that a reasonably prudent patient would find material before deciding to undergo a medical procedure. What could be more material than the one direct question the patient finds important enough to ask?

It is now clear that a “death cult” has taken root within Islam. These fanatical enemies of freedom will as soon rain death and mayhem upon a schoolyard of innocent children (Muslim as well as non-Muslim) as they will attack a military vehicle.

Yet while we denounce these zealots who seek to destroy in the name of religion, we should also acknowledge that a “death cult” has arisen in our own society as well. Many in this group worship at the altar of secularism. They have devalued life, and their handiwork is memorialized in the ignominious Roe v. Wade decision as well as in those state statutes that allow for euthanasia and lethal experimentation on embryonic stem cells.

In his 1995 encyclical Evangelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life), Pope John Paul II noted as the twentieth century came to a close that a full-blown “Culture of Death” had established itself within Western civilization.

In H. G. Wells’s novel The Island of Dr. Moreau, the survivor of a shipwreck lands on an island in the South Pacific. There he discovers that the island’s owner has been creating human-animal hybrids.

Wells’s novel grew out of his revulsion at what people were doing to animals. Today, the real source of horror is what man is doing to himself.

Wells’s villain used surgery to create his monsters and had to flee civilization to pursue his inhuman goals. Today’s would-be Dr. Moreaus not only have a much more powerful tool—genetic engineering—but they also have their government’s official blessing.

Skeptical social conservatives will read that as Huckabee would let laws get in the way of standing by principle. That is giving Huckabee too much credit. Huckabee has no regard for Terri's Law being illegal. The Florida Supreme Court ruled Terri's Law overstepped the separation of powers.

Bill Clinton knows about the Mexico City Policy. Immediately upon taking office as President, on behalf of his virulently pro-abortion base of support, Clinton rescinded Ronald Reagan's prohibition on U.S. taxpayer funding of abortions overseas.

George W. Bush knows about the Mexico City Policy. When he became our country's Chief Executive, one of his first acts was to restore the policy's protections afforded to the innocent unborn around the world, and to American taxpayers.

But in last Monday's Values Voter debate in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, candidate Mike Huckabee proved that he doesn't have a clue about this landmark pro-life foreign policy.

People left the GOP once they realized that Jeb was using the media to manipulate everyone who knew she was being murdered. One day Jeb would say, I'm goin' in which caused many people to turn around cuz they thought Terri was safe! Next day "nothing I can do."

For gosh sakes, I think Tucker Carlson of MSNBC doesn't even know Terri died. He said the other night that the govt saved Terri. Tucker and how many others think Terri was saved? TERRI WAS NOT SAVED. She was disposed of in a frightening, painful, barbaric and FELONIOUS way. (and she wasn't PVS. She was alert and aware and BREATHED ON HER OWN!

Terri linked to OJ via Mark Fuhrman: www.sptimes.com did an article about OJ and where everyone is now. They noted that MARK FUHRMAN is a true crime author and wrote a book about TERRI SCHIAVO. Did the St. Pete Times archivist slip up? Yes, it was a true crime. I agree with the St. Pete Times for their statement re: Terri Schiavo in the OJ article. (I knew in time, propagandists re: Terri would start to slip up or soften. But yet, Huckabee wins the Values Voters debate straw poll, when we know that Brownback, Hunter and Keyes supported Congress helping Terri 100%, so Brownback, Hunter and Keyes are pro-life from conception to NATURAL death, but Huckabee is weak on the NATURAL death end of the life issue.

Also, Huckabee came in 2nd in the Iowa straw poll (even though he spent little money), and I heard a political analyst say it was because of the life issue.

Huckabee is a great speaker on the life issue, but I guess the straw poll voters don’t know Huckabee is weak on protecting the disabled, when he wasn’t sure if Congress should have intervened to help Terri.

We have our work cut out for us in getting the word out.

The case is complex due to poor work at the DeSoto County courthouse. She didn't do anything. No thefts, no physical violence, no money came to her... The judge said it "was a victimless crime." Well, there was no crime! She' a Christian, maybe that's the charge against her.
