Gainesville, FL (LifeNews.com) -- The family of Terri Schiavo is continuing its efforts to block a speech by Jack Kevorkian scheduled for the middle of next month. The speech would be the first for the former assisted suicide crusader following his release from prison for killing a disabled man and showing the death on national television.Kevorkian would speak to students at the University of Florida on October 11 and receive $50,000 for the talk, as long as his parole officers approve the trip.
The family of Terri Schiavo has been leading an effort to stop the speech by gathering petitions from concerned citizens so Kevorkian doesn't get a platform in their home state.
They don't want the former pathologist telling students that people with disabilities should be killed, like their sister, rather than receiving appropriate medical treatment or rehabilitative care.
Bobby Schindler, Terri's brother, told LifeNews.com, "We have collected thousands of petitions (and they are still coming in) to deliver to the Office of the President of the University of Florida."
"We're demanding the University rescind its offer to pay $50,000 for Kevorkian to address the students," he added.
"Despite the ongoing message of death spreading through our society and those, like Jack Kevorkian, who attempt to justify killing the most vulnerable among us, we are committed to fight against this death-obsessed culture and spread Terri's legacy of life, hope and love," Schindler explained.
He said there is still time for pro-life people and others worried about Kevorkian's pro-assisted suicide message to sign a petition asking the University of Florida to cancel the speech.
The petition can be found at the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation web site.

Well, they all go through that same tactic. It is so predictable, we have to be imaginative to think of fresh responses so it doesn’t get boring. Even when I talk about projection, they are blind to it and go ahead projecting as if to illustrate my point.

I wish these trolls would arrive better prepared. They should read the threads for a while before posting. Practice a little, to hone their skills, without actually posting their responses. These amateurs that show up and just start throwing posts around, helter skelter, without a thought, are so boring.

Usually, we can tell a retread because they already know how to do the posts and the html. Real noobies have to fumble a bit at first. All in all, it makes little difference because their handlers don’t have much choice in options, sort of like a choice of A and All of the Above.

At least this one had enough honesty to use “troll” in his name. Even libs accidentally tell the truth once in a while.

Don't be surprised if it were intentional, even at the subconscious level (where they get their guidance anyway...)

People who are righteous don't have to call for others to back them up. Wagglebee and I have a reciprocal agreement. Whenever he sees a troll, he pings me. Whenever I see a cheese, I ping him.

Now why would a misshapen mushy cheese, made from sour milk, with an overpowering odor, remind you of our visitors? LOL

Thanks BykrBayb! These exchanges are enlightening. Founding and Graduating Cum Laude from FR’s Counter-Troll University, class of 04’-05’, I’d say you have a troll on your hands. A semi-skilled one at that.
What is it with the skill level of trolls these days. It’s not easy to find a really good one. There was one very good one on the zapper thread that had people running in circles over the pro-life issue, but I’ve not seen one even come close until this one.
A couple of basic observations. The issue surrounding this user’s exchanges was generally around whether or not they were pro-life and whether or not people had the right to express their thoughts on a privately owned Forum. Good questions of course, but the user instinctively knew to avoid the issue of explaining why they are pro-life. Successfully debating a point they absolutely do not agree with is a skill only a master troll can accomplish. The others cannot resist the urge to shy away from their true feelings, and it will come out in their posts. This is why it’s key for them to put the focus on everything except why they feel the way they do. It’s effective, no doubt, but should be recognized by others as well.
One additional note, sleepers these days can’t seem to sleep more than a week to a month. No endurance factor at all. It’s probably a matter of the school’s of trolling putting students on some sort of fast-track program, or most likely some of them are signing up for the online troll degree programs where there’s no oversight and diplomas are basically just mailed to them (lol). It’s a good thing though, makes them easier to spot.
FR is indeed pro-life, and always will be!!! You and waglebee handled this very well I might add!

New video out! From LifeSiteNews...
..........................................
September 10, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Turning the Tide, the powerful DVD on euthanasia and assisted suicide, has been incredibly well received. The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition has sold more than 700 copies of Turning the Tide since its release in April and Turning the Tide has received positive reviews from people across Canada and the US.
Turning the Tide is produced by the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition and Salt and Light media foundation.
Turning the Tide was designed to change the way secular society perceives the issues of euthanasia and assisted suicide. Secular society views the issues of euthanasia and assisted suicide to be issues related to autonomy whereas Turning the Tide shifts the focus of the issue.................
~Snip~
Turning the Tide features: Bobby Schindler (Terri Schiavo's brother), Wesley Smith (Attorney, International Task Force on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide), Catherine Frazee (former chair of the Ontario Human Rights Committee), Adrian Dieleman (counselor, rehabilitation clinic for spinal cord injuries), Jean Echlin (palliative care nursing consultant), Senator Sharon Carstairs (Canadian Senator), Alex Schadenberg (executive director, Euthanasia Prevention Coalition), Reg Hancock (spinal cord injury survivor) and more. ...................

As I note often enough, perhaps ad nauseum, the lefties repeat often enough, also ad nauseum on nearly a daily basis. They just gotta pick up old worn mantras to treat against that albatross on their necks, the Legacy of Terri. They can't stay away from it. Otherwise the news on Terri's Legacy would be slim, instead of daily recharge.
Again, as I noted upthread bracketed by example, I referred to projection, the tendency of libs and trolls to visit their own failings on us normal folk. It is sort of like the old "black is white, war is peace" logic here once again waving its flag.
It is obvious this wont work. The Republicans are so desperate about 2008 that they cant even pretend to reflect on the whole Craig matter. The lynch mob was at his Boise door so quickly it is clear they didnt stop at the Minneapolis airport.
The moral corruption of this episode reminds me of the Terri Schiavo case, the poor woman who was brain dead and the Republican leaders jumping through hoops to keep her alive. Sen. Bill Frist ruined his career by making a diagnosis based on videotapes, and President Bush rushed back to Washington to sign some kind of ridiculous bill.
