When a dog starts behaving purely on instinct and doesn’t listen to the master, anything can happen. There are often signs of bad behavior before a dog “snaps” completely.

Yup, and it can be any breed, just ask the police dog handler after the dog attacked the mail man last week. He totally ignored his handlers commands and it was a German Shepherd.

He’s very good at dog psychology - I am sure there had to be something that the dog was telegraphing.
