I think that he’s a strong traditional paleoconservative (a la Pat Buchanan) who’s had his campaign hijacked by left-wing crazies who see his anti-Iraq-war stance and willingness to investigate the Bush Administration as his strongest points.

I had no idea who Alex Jones was. Googled and read about him at Wikipedia. He’s a few bricks short of a full load, isn’t he.
