An assault force will have a much tougher time getting to the island and then on it this time around.
Jeff, no Typhoons down in the Falklands. The last unit to get the Typhoon will be the Falklands flight to replace the Tornado F.3s. The F.3s are due to be retired in 2010. Stanley was demilitarised a long time ago. RAF Mount Pleasant was built some 30 miles to the east of Stanley in the mid 1980s.
