The best way to help poor people in america is to kick out all the illegals. This will increase demand for labor and drive up wages.
In my opinion anyway. I’m not an economist, but it seems to me it would be a solution.
It would help what are euphemistically called the “working poor.” And, that’s worth doing. But, most of the truly poor in America are people incapable, for a variety of reasons generally not of their own making, that are incapable of working. These are the people that we should and could help if most of the resources available weren’t diverted to Democrat Party constituents that simply want a free ride and/or subsidy of their irresponsible lifestyles.
