Of course the whole "Hispanic solidarity" thing is a farce. PRs don't like Mexicans, Mexicans don't like Guatamalans, Guatamalans don't like Nicaraguans, Nicaraguans don't like Colombians, etc., etc., etc.

I knew a girl from Peru once a few years back. She said in the other Spanish speaking nations Mexicans were considered the white trash of the Hispanic world and highly looked down upon. Didn’t know what to really say to that, but that is the perspective down there.
