Yep...he’s already looking much better than Craig on that issue. I know he’s strong on 2nd amendment, against abortion, against gay rights, will be strong on national security. I just do not know his stance on free trade, but hope that it is an equally conservative and pro-American position.

That theory was advanced by a caller to Rush’s show with Jason. Jason didn’t buy it, but I do.

And it worked. the Craig story led everywhere and not much mention of Hillary and the Chinese.

So Risch was governor before he became lt. governor?

I like the ACTION he took on illegal immigration.

It’s way out of line to even say this, but I’ll say it anyway: a conservative senator with executive experience /might/ be well positioned for POTUS in the future.

Well OK I was wrong and I didn’t really believe the toe tapping was toe tapping. What do I know about toe tapping, obviously nothing. At least Mr. Craig can now go write a tell-all book. There does seem to be a market for these kinds of stories.

Thanks for the insight.

I think Mrs. Tick & I need to look into moving to Idaho.

I’m a native Coloradan, but I just can’t see moving back to CO. I live the mountains but I hate CO politics. ID might be a good alternative.

He became Governor when then Governor Dirk Kempthorne was appointed to head the Department of Interior by President Bush. Risch was Lt. Governor at the time and finished out the term, and also kept a pledge not to run against Otter when Otter, who was a US congressman from Idaho at the time, announced he would seek the Governorship.

Risch became Lt. Governor again and now Otter is repaying the favor it seems...as well as appointing a conservative replacement.

Driggs, Idaho across the Tetons from Jackson, WY is beautiful.

He was seeking sex in a public place. His intended partner turned out to be an undercover cop, and we know the rest.

How can this be a sex scandal if no sex was involved?

Oral sex is not sex
Wide stance is sex
Black is white
White is black
Democrat good, Republican evil

ya think they were trying to divert attention away from the Hildabeast’s problems?

yes--i thought that at the start... and it made me mad that Craig or any Republican would do something so stupid because that is exactly what it does... it diverts attention from Hildabeast...

Here's a great link for Idaho Mountains to help in your decision process. It's from a trip my youngest son and I took:

Isn't that the truth? Slick deposits semen on a blue dress and washes most down an oval office bathroom sink and it's not sex. This guy antagonizes an adjacent stall-mate and is accused of sexual attack?

Yeah, he is lucky. If I wanted to be in the Senate, that would be a great way to it.....Senate campaign are nasty, and it is hard to get there unless going to the House first.

“It’s interesting that the Craig story came out just at the time the “fugitive who funded Hillary’s campaign” story broke.

Call me cynical but ya think they were trying to divert attention away from the Hildabeast’s problems?

I hear a report about this on the radio today. And they said this guy turned himself in. They also said the money had been given to a few candidates. They did not mention who. They did not mention Hillary at all. Then they went on to say that the candidates had donated the money. Nothing like a mainstream news report.
