I wouldn’t be surprised if it is Penny Freeman’s comments.. Go to Alex Jones’ site and look at some of the interviews she has done for them.. In addition to jumping all over the Bildberger conspiracy, she also tries to make Paul look like a saint on a lot of really bad votes, like votes against securing the border.. she even said he voted for several border security bills that he voted against.

That kind of thing may be the reason that she doesn't work for him any more, ever consider that?

Still, it appears that she might need some professional help.

While the push and aggressive military tactics ordered by Reno were murder. I think statements that say there was a deliberately set fire are nutty. They mostly stem from Alex Jones fake videos purportedly showing fire coming from a tank or something.

Alex Jones will one day get a taste of his own medicine. He should burn in hell for the lies he pumps out for filthy lucre.

Let me clarify. They were murder on Reno’s part. I don’t beleive that there was any deliberate fire set “to drive them out”. there was tear gas used and there was a fire that followed.

Could the hot canisters have ignited something in that tinder box?
Could a gunshot muzzle flame ignited something in that tinderbox?
Could one nut among hundreds of nuts purposefully ignited that tinder box?

Yes any of these could have happened. We will never know which.

Did the BATF or any other agency fire a flare or other intentional ignition source to the compound?
Hell no and anyone who believes that is a freakin’ idiot!!!

They could have quietly waited the compound out. There were option other than getting so aggressive.

They knew David K (may he burn in hell forever) was at the dentist a day or so before the raid, they could have very easily served a warrant on him there. There were plenty of stupid things done. But the idea that BATF purposefully set the compund ablaze is rediculous.

“A world in which Ron Paul is President is a world where Israel is overrun by Syria,”

Ron Paul aside, do you have that little faith in Israel? Do you really believe this???

Remember what happened in the six day war? (not to mention a few others)
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/1967toc.html

I think, all meddling aside, Israel could clean up the middle east in a hurry.

There was NO excuse for Waco. Period.

They could have apprehended Koresh elsewhere, and they knew it.

That’s what I said.

At the same time there is NO excuse for saying the compund was purposefully torched either.

It is just a bunch of scare mogering mostly perpetuated by Alex Jones and his never ending pursuit of the Dollar!

I have faith in Israel, but I also know they are stronger when we are on their side. Our abandoning them would empower the muzzies to attempt to overrun them.

From the onsite reporters.........

9:08 a.m.: Monkeys for Ron Paul
With two police escorts on bicycles, Ron Paul's supporters finished their march to the Convention Center and are now rallying outside the delegates' entrance. Several buses and RVs passed by covered in Ron Paul signs.

According to one of our correspondents, a live monkey could clearly be seen in the window of one of the Ron Paul RVs.

No comment.

Friday, 6 a.m.: Coffee with the Paulites

Ron Paul supporters got an early start, meeting over coffee at 6 a.m. But of the 20 Paulites in a downtown cafe, not one was a voting delegate.

Final list of updates.

xxxx

Saturday, 4 p.m.: The votes are in . . .
And the winner of the first-ever Rebpublican Straw Poll in Texas is: California Congressman Duncan Hunter, who claimed 534 votes, or 41.1 percent of the ballots cast this afternoon. Finishing second is candidate-in-waiting Fred Thompson, who formally launches his candidacy next week, with 266 votes, or 20.5 percent.

Third was Texas’ own Ron Paul, a GOP congressman and one-time Libertarian presidential nominee, who got 217 votes, or 16.7 percent. Paul was far and away the most aggressive campaigner at the two-day Straw Poll event in downtown Fort Worth.

12:30 p.m.: Speech highlights
The candidates have spoken. Now it’s up to the delegates. Here’s a look at what some of the contenders said.

Ray McKinney, of Georgia, told the crowd he’s their man and that long-running problems — including solving the illegal immigration situation and fixing social security — need to be addressed.

“Right now, Texas, the eyes of the United States are on you,” he said. “Do you want to send a message to politiicans, to Americans ... that we are so fed up that we want to send a guy who wants to work for a living there to Washington?”

John Cox, of Chicago, said he was glad at least some Texans skipped the first day of dove hunting to be at the event. He said he’s a conservative Republican and tired of corruption, partisanship and of a “failed regime.”

“We can bring real ideas...back to the Republican Party,” he said. “We want solutins, no celebrities. We want results, not rhetoric ... So I’m asking for your support today.”

When Ron Paul — the only Texan on the Straw Poll ballot — was introduced, his supporters provided the warmest and loudest welcome of the day. They waved signs, stood and cheered constantly throughout Paul’s speech.

“I’m a strong defender of individual liberty,” Paul said. “Personal choices means tolerance against other people as long as they’re not hurting us.

“I am a strong defender of the right to life of all living human beings,” he said, adding that a vote for him is a “vote for the constitution, a vote for limited government.”

Alabama psychiatrist Hugh Cort touted his inexperience as a politician and his knowledge of counterterrorism which he said he gained by attending conferences and speaking with experts in the field.

“Until 9/11, I was just a happy psychiatrist and when 9/11 happened, it horrified me and all of us,” Cort said.

Citing different sources, Cort said with certainty that Osama Bin Laden has snuck “suitcase nukes” into the U.S.

“He wants to blow up ten American cities with nuclear devices like we blew up Hiroshima,” Cort said.

Cort received a mix of cheers and boos when he called for bombing Iran but made it up to the crowd when he promised his first acts as president would be to ban abortion and homosexual marriage.

Duncan Hunter was introduced by fellow Conressman, U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall, who described Hunter as “a guy who won’t only protect our borders, he’ll close our borders.”

He said he wants U.S. troops to leave Iraq the “right way” and he promised to build the entire 864-mile border fence in his first six months in office.

Hunter told the crowd that his grandson, also named Duncan, is even helping him campaign, telling people “my grandpa is going to be president. Now, can I count on your vote?”

Noon: Anti-war slogans
Some slogans at the anti-war rally that caught our eye:

“Arrest Bush”

“Arrest Cheney First”

“Capitalism Makes War”

“9/11 Was An Inside Job”

—Aman Batheja

11:56 a.m.: The New Recycling
Anti-war rally organizers are getting ready for their afternoon demonstration. In a new twist on going green, they’re creating signs over signs from unsuccessful Democratic campaigns, including Steve Lerma’s bid last year for County Commissioner and Doreen Geiger’s run for Democratic County Chair.

~~~
11:48 a.m.: God’s wrath
It started raining in downtown Fort Worth shortly before noon, or as Star-Telegram reporter Jason Buch put it: “God hath turned his wrath on the anti-war folks.”
—Aman Batheja
10:25 a.m.: A uniter, not divider
Republicans have been fairly unified in comments addressed toward Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
“When you leave, tell a friend, tell a neighbor, tell Hillary — there is no right wing conspiracy,” said Michael Steele, former Maryland lieutenant governor.
“There’s one person who will be able to unify like no other — that is Hillary Clinton,” said U.S. Sen. John Cornyn.
“We cannot have another Clinton in the White House,” said Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
— Anna M. Tinsley
~~~

10:15 a.m.: Governor’s message
Texas Gov. Rick Perry didn’t make it to the straw poll Saturday, but he did send a video-taped message for the delegates.

He spoke against Democrats, saying that “we cannot have another Clinton in the White House” and that “we need to make the Nancy Pelosi speakership a brief asterisk.”

And he said that when united, Republicans can make things happen.

“When Republicans pull together, we win,” Perry said. “I’m confident the Republican family will pull together in 2008 ... and we’ll let nothing stand in our way.

“I may not be on the ballot, but I’ll campaign next year like I am.”

— Anna M. Tinsley

~~~
9:40 a.m.: Energizing the party
As people continued to stream into the ballroom, Republican Party of Texas Chairwoman Tina Benkiser welcomed delegates and their guests to the first-ever Texas Straw Poll.
“We are here to celebrate America and voice our support for the next president of America,” she said. “This event has brought thousands of grassroots leaders together.”
Benkiser said it’s time for Republicans to choose a new leader who will set a course for the nation’s future.
“That person will impact your children and your children’s future,” she said. “We must refuse to lose.”
— Anna M. Tinsley
~~~

9:12 a.m.: Kick Off
The Straw Poll agenda kicked off with a remembrance to the victims of 9-11, with a video of military men, families, flags and more, with the country song, Have You Forgotten? playing in the background.

“We have not forgotten,” the screen said. “We never will.”

Gospel singer J.E. McKissic then sang God Bless America, as the crowd rose to its feet.
