Is that some sort of standard statement the police give someone? (I don’t know, I have never been arrested). The wording seems very awkward.I doubt the police were directly involved with that statement. He would have worked out the language with someone in the District Attorney's office. It's not something he signed in the police interrogation room.

I don’t know the procedure. So, do they have someone (like the DA) kind of walk a person thru their statement? I thought the wording didn’t sound like something someone would actually say.
