Those are very good points and I understand. I am not sure that Craig will lose though. Either way, I just sick of the hypocrisy in the liberal MSM.

At best this is not a political risk worth taking. I've pointed out the very serious consequences that the whole of the GOP will face in 2008 should Craig not resign now. At the very least, it will give his successor time to mount an effective campaign to retain the seat and help keep Idaho red in 2008. The GOP cannot win the presidency without Idaho's electoral votes.

I just sick of the hypocrisy in the liberal MSM.

I've long since tuned them out except for when I want a laugh.

"I am not sure that Craig will lose though."

If he doesn't resign, if there is no primary challenge, he will lose. The Democrats will simply run THE BEST FINANCED MOST CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE IN ALL OF IDAHO, at least until he gets elected. They've done it all over the place in '06 and will be doing it again in '08 anyway. They probably would have sat on this story about Craig until post-primary had it not slipped out now.
