Craig then pled guilty to a lesser charge stemming from the specific incident. Case closed. He was read his rights, just like you or I would be in a criminal arrest, he refused a lawyer's counsel on his own volition. He then pled guilty to it and told no one.
Sorry, but by all definition, it was illegal and he, an indivdual who understands the legal system and the laws, pled guilty.
Now he is back pedaling on that admission in the face of the other allegations and investigations which he himself admits are ongoing.
Say what you will...but this whole arguemnt that it is nothing more than a flirtation like coming on to a girl is false and laughable on its face. It was a public restroom in a large airport where a father and his young son could walk into anytime. It is a sewrious moral issue...and a serious breach of trust and judgement. It is not the type of environemtn we want or expect in Idaho, regardless of what other states may say...but apparently in Minnesota they have laws governing the same.
The police were active in trying to curb the crime that went on there...as well they should be. Public indeceny is a crime and that's what they were there for and here comes Senator Craig going through all the motions, who is himself being investigated for such behavior and you want me to believe it was allsome kind of coincidence?
As I said, for me at least, that dog don't hunt...particularly when we are talking about my senatorial representative. He should resign now before the spectacle gets worse and worse IMHO.
Do not trust what you read in print or see on TV anymore. Wait until things are logical and not emotional.
