Let’s get that up to 101 guns per 100 people in the next couple of years. And then keep going.
Are these figures drawn up from gun sales? From gun stores and gun shows and flea markets? We may actually be well over 101 guns per 100 people already.
Let’s not let anybody in Washington or our state capitols decrease this number.
I suspect they are from manufacturers, exporters and importers, plus an estimate of how many have turned to scrap metal. No need to worry the retail end of things, there is no "sink" for guns, other than the collectors and gun nuts among us of course. They all eventually end up either exported or in the hands of the populace. (Neglecting military and police, but those are known factors as well).
