His future in doubt, with allies denouncing his behavior and former staffers voicing disbelief at his arrest, Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, is expected to hold a press conference this afternoon that may answer questions about his political future.
Long dogged by rumors about his sexuality, the married and conservative three-term senator is expected to address the June 11 incident at Minneapolis Airport in which an undercover officer arrested him on charges of lewd conduct in a men's room.
Craig will give a statement this afternoon concerning his arrest at 2 p.m. Mountain Time in downtown Boise, a spokesman said. Craig's staff said he would not take questions.

I used to hate it when some of the elected people who were my favorites term limited themselves and kept their word and left. Now, I have come to believe that if we allow them to stay any length of time, 9 times out of 10, they either get so arrogant, they think they can do anything and get away with it, or they get more and more liberal. From Craig’s statement, it sounds like he belongs in the former class - totally arrogant, cares nothing about anybody but himself.
If he's guilty, He screwed up the GOP big time not resigning.
Wasn't that an episode on Seinfeld? ;)
Forgiveness for casting a shadow on Idaho...
That being said, his guilty plea makes his upcoming effort, virtually impossible!!
I don't approve of his actions [if true] but 'conservatives' are in short supply and I will not throw him overboard as long as this doesn't involve anyone underage.
Thanks for putting up that link. I wouldn’t have watched that farce otherwise.
This whole controversy is just so........gay.
Agreed!
Maybe his family will convince him to get some psychological help with his perverted gay cravings.
Never know, he could be healed or helped, but he should go home to do it, hopefully his constituents will have mercy and send him on his way.
Well there goes that Senate seat....
“not even a picture of Hilliary in a g-string
I think my mind just vomited
And that is why we are not Senators or Senatorial material, we have this thing called..a conscience...can be a pesk..
Did he point his finger when he said it?
I guess he has another definition of 'gay' in his own mind.
Some guys think because they are married, it is not they who are the 'gay' ones.
Criminals think this way also.
Sorry. you were wong. Craig is digging in his heels.
My prediction was accurate. Why would he give up all that power he has?
he’s spent a lifetime with power. These hacks don’t know why to give it up.
I prefer my conservatives without criminal convictions!
LMAO... thank God, he's just a run-of-the-mill, bathroom pervert!
The only way I will believe him is if they can somehow tie the arrest as premeditated by some anti-republican activists. He should not have plead guilty...
“If he’s innocent, good for him.”
If he is innocent, he is still incompetent. A U S Senator doesn’t get a lawyer?
He should have resigned, but he didn’t. Apperntly, he thinks he’s above the rules of society, just like all the other pols.
Yes, but he is obviously ill, he needs help, who knows what he could do next?
