You can’t gain a conscience. You either have one or you don’t. He’ll never change and is a danger to society.

It doesn't work that way. A man repents, he is forgiven by God. We have no way of knowing his sincerity, but it's wrong to just call him a liar without proof.

People do change. That's central to sin and redemption.

No...people that age, that much time and experience... don't change when it comes to gaining a conscience when it comes to people and animal suffering. They can't just suddenly gain a heart and conscience after killing them (unless it's a kid who experiences their first hunting kill...I've seen a kid break down after killing his first bird for no reason other than for target practice).....it's not reversible.
Reminds me of this reborn Christian I use to work with....he preaches and thinks he's a Saint being reborn and everyone else is going to hell if you are not reborn. Yet he lies and rips off the company while saying how people should be punished for stealing....hypocrit. Change my butt......
