So, how many heads have those scarey Christians and Jews chopped off lately?
Things like: Taxes we can afford; A reverence for the US Constitution as the Founding Fathers wrote it; An appreciation for the values and traditions that made this country the finest in the history of the world; A respect for all opinion, not just what is the PC flavor of the month; An understanding that people should not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character; And respect for life (no matter how vulnerable or powerless).
Don't forget respect for our RIGHT to protect our lives, those of our loved ones and our liberties. IOW, ending gun control for all but the insane and provably violent.
Speaking as a Jew whose distant relatives were shot or gassed, then buried in pits or cremated, I'm NEVER giving up that right, or the tools necessary to use that right until...drumroll...someone pries it from my cold (well, cooling), dead hands. They'd also be advised to bring along lots of body bags for their buddies, and be careful not to slip on all of the empty cartridge cases near my body. Oh, and I'm not at all concerned about religious Christians doing something like that to me - though I can't say that about lots of "religious" Moslems or atheists/agnostics. THOSE people scare me.
The “Imperial March” is reserved for Sith Overlords. IOW, only for Rush and Dick Cheney.
That is absolutely the truth. But let's think about this - being anti-Israel (as in "it doesn't have a right to exist as a nation) is, practically speaking, anti-Semitic (no matter your spouse's religion of birth). It is the only certain refuge for a Jew in the modern world, a world that has the example of Hitler to follow, and which a large number of people (including national leaders) would only too happily do if they could. The existence of Israel and the nuclear-armed IDF prevent that. I shudder for Jews if Israel ceases to exist, as Amanpour would like.
That’s true - after all, Rush and Cheney are the ones who ultimately control the Republican party through their “scare-tactics,” much like the Emperor and Darth Vader. Hmm, I think I watch too much Star Wars.
CNN should have called it what it was: a defense of Islamic fundamentalism and the worst type of moral relativism. ... In the end, this was exactly what she said it wasnt: lobbying, advocacy, and an effort, intentional or not, to have people draw particular conclusions.
