9MM or .38 Special Glasers Safety Slugs if you're worried about penetrating walls. Not really. It will go through the sheet rock and airspace and second layer of sheet rock. However, the Safety Slug by this point has shattered its plastic surround and is not near as potent as a normal slug. If you were on the wrong side of that wall it would hit you but probably not cause fatal injury.

IIRC, 10 gauge doesn’t go through sheetrock, and the sound of that shotgun being racked might save you from having to kill somebody.
