There were reports that Trent Lott had something in his FBI file he did not want exposed.
This was the reason many thought he let Clinton off the hook when Henry Hyde delivered articles of impeachment to the senate leader at the time.
Paraphrase Trent's response to the articles of impeachment “Your not going to lay this $#!t on me Henry”
Some believe Trent was quite worried that Hillary was rifling through hundreds of FBI files that were discovered to be in her possession in the residence quarters of the WH.

Because they don’t believe it. As a Christian, I KNOW it will happen eventually. It IS scary.
If Bush had pursued corruption and crimes in the Clinton Admin as vigorously as he pursues illegal amnesty, the Dems would have been painted as the Party of Crooks in clear colors and the Clintons would be still serving time in prison.
Another Bush failing. With the consequence the USA is facing more rule by the most corrupt people ever to inhabit the White House.
