Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton drew outrage from her opponents for the Democratic presidential nomination on Friday after saying that a terrorist attack in the United States would give Republicans an edge in the 2008 race. ...

snip...

Several Democratic contenders -- ever-vigilant in responding to Clinton -- leveled the same charge at her Friday after hearing her comments.

Advisers to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) declined to comment.

She was just warning her terrorist pals. Don’t do it boys, it’ll work against us instead of for us.

"But if certain things happen between now and the election, particularly with respect to terrorism, that will automatically give the Republicans an advantage again, no matter how badly they have mishandled it, no matter how much more dangerous they have made the world," she said. "So I think I'm the best of the Democrats to deal with that, as well."

. . .want to hear the Repub response to this one. It had better be swift. . .and good; and to the deadly heart of Hillary's assumptions.

There will be little time and media space for Repubs opining and/or responding post Primary. Hillary will get it 'all'. . .Repubs need to be speaking to the truth of Hillary and Clinton, Inc. and the vacant ideology all these Dems hold to; and the real threat to our Country that they pose.

So far; have heard little.

No one understands what she’s done.

She’s sent a STRONG message to Queda: DON’T BE EFFIN STUPID, IF YOU ATTACK NOW, DEM LOSE AND YOU LOSE.

Remember folks, the last two presidential elections had queda attacks and videos right before the election in an attempt to influence the election. Trouble was, USA ain’t like the surrender monkeys in Spain. It backfired. Hillary is terrified that queda will make the same mistake again.

Thoughts?

I do recall that most dems said pretty much the same thing during the 2004 election cycle. They said that Pres. Bush would probably allow a terror attack to give his party the edge in the elections. Why are they changing their tune...oh, never mind.

Like Husband like wife.

Republicans should already be running this ad.

Hillary’s position on terrorism: Wait until I am President. Then when you hit us, I can blame the previous administration.

She's taking a tough line on foreign policy and emphasizing her political experience?

What does she know about a tough line on foreign policy regarding terrorism? If she learned it from her husband, Slick - NOTHING meaningful was ever done about it when they had the White House.

LOL

That prediction was way too easy. I’m sure the demonizing would begin the day after election: “Well, you know, because of the failures of the Bush administration, we just don’t know if we can get a handle on this terrorism thingie.....”

You KNOW they’re gonna.

What a great campaign ad.

I would run with that quote at every turn of this election cycle. Use it to back up with the dems owning defeat, and conservatives staying the course.

That would resonate!

Some people are finally getting the picture that Miss Hitlery is dumber than a box of rocks? Dumber than a bag of hair? IQ of a weed? When she speaks she sounds like a robot with low batteries. She truly is not very intelligent. Miss Hitlery is to politics what Al Gore is to science.

Advisers to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) declined to comment.

Because the Senator from Illinois has stuck his foot in his mouth so many times over the past week he has Athlete's Tongue and was unavailable for comment......
