Sorry but I must be real dense on this. The car was parked I believe in a hospital parking lot. Since the mom is a Dr, I would assume she works there. I wonder if the dad works there as well.
It just doesn’t make sense. Did they drive together to the hospital and then both get out and walk in without remembering there was a baby??
They both thought the other was going to drive to the daycare. I don’t know but it seems like something is missing.
scenario,
the family is ready to leave, Mom is inside and is looking for her purse and beeper. Dad puts baby in the back seat of moms car, since they communicate so well he believes she is going to drop the baby off at day care.
Mom comes out gets in the car and leaves with the baby, dad gets in his car and goes to work.
Mom thought dad was taken the baby to daycare. And rushes to work. Leaves sleeping baby in car seat and goes into the hospital.
