the core conservative principles of the party revolve around individual liberty and a limited government that serves to protect that liberty.

These are the principles of libertarianism, not of conservatism. Conservatism seeks to conserve the faith and governance of the founders of the nation. There is a difference between the liberty they fought for, and the libertine philosophy of the 21st century progressive. Such a progressive has no place in a party of conservatives. Neither does the sodomite he quite wrongly lionizes.

You get it. There is no so called income fixation/cutoff range for conservatives. It is rather a belief, a set of ideals that we strive to live by.

Please do not push the homosexual affluent agenga on me. Please do not push the idea that conservatism has a dollar figure.

Most of us work for a living and find class warfare to be repugnant.

While the GOP would be foolish to be openly hostile, opening wide the arms of the Party and actively promoting the homosexual agenda would drive OUT the social conservative (who are approximately 20% of the base).

So they would bring in 2% and drive out 20%.

In equating libertarians with “progressives”, you reveal yourself to be either ignorant or dishonest.
