I haven’t had any trouble at all with the Java on this thread. (I’m running a Linux machine, if that influences anything.) Now, when I was using XP, I’d occasionally have Java trouble.

So as not to hijack, I’ll be brief: Java over Firefox over XP is notoriously flaky in my experience and information.

Another real brief comment ATSLs: My laptop runs Linux and Firefox and Java and on a 1999 Pentium II! Not fast, but more than adequate for browsing FR threads.

Now, I haven’t read all the thread, but was there any comment about the 17 fisherman trapped on an island that the eye may traverse? Prayers for them.
