All the talk about buoys got me to take a look at the one guarding my neck of the woods.

Buoy 41002, a NOMAD, 250 NM east of Charleston, SC was “recovered and turned off”. It will be replaced when it can be worked into the schedule.

So, of the four buoys I was interested in this morning three are not working.

Not that ya’ll don’t need one, but I sure hope they fix these down here first! :)

The buoys need to be privatized, they are a disgrace. Little maintenance and not always user friendly,many don’t even have water temp or other relevant info.
