Check out the "remnants" of TS Erin exploding over Oklahoma. NWS is calling it "the equivalent of a tropical storm." They are getting pounded with rainfall, some totals exceeding 9", and 40+ mph winds.

40+ mph winds? Don’t let ‘em kid you - it blows 25-30mph all day long, every day, on the Lake Hefner Golf Course in OKC with *frequent* gusts to 40 and above, lol!

This is the plains...We have 40 mph winds all the time.
Not even close to a big deal.
The rain is unusual, however....quite a lot of rain down in OK. HEre in Ks, we are missing most of it.
