Thank you!
That’s just what I thought.
Some American “experts” argued tirelessly that it’s the way it was poured.
Can’t wait to see them next. lol
That's pure BS!
I’ve Irish on dad’s side and Dane on mom’s.
Should I apologize to myself?
[And what of the Welsh and Scots in my woodpile? Should I kick my own @ss, just in case I have it coming?]....;-D
Seriously though, this is PC idiocy.
I thank them all for the warrior blood that flows in my veins.
[even if I’m too puny to really do anything useful with it]....LOL!
Hope they don’t apologize for raids on Moorish Spain!!!
:’) I wonder when the Moslems will apologize for 1400+ years of mass murder, pillage, rape, pedophilia, oppression...
Oh, well, Ok then.
My thought on this thread is that the Dane's apology was largely tongue-in-cheek. He emphasized pride in the ship, even as he apologized for the ramapage and slaughter. It was not comparable to the ridiculous apologies of Clinton and Bush over slavery--Clinton's being more direct, yet Bush's absurd behavior off the Coast of Senegal, a couple of years ago, being equally ludicrous, if you know Senegalese history--i.e. the fact that a generation after slavery ended in America, there were still two classes of Senegalese, the free slave owners, and their slaves. Bush was denouncing slavery to the grandchildren of slave owners; treating him politely as a source of revenue, to be sure.
The idea of one generation apologizing for the values of their progenitors, not only flies in the face of all Western Theology--being inconsistent with the Fifth Commandment;--but is arrogant in the extreme. At any moment in time, there is an incredibly complex array of phenomena that go into human thinking. For damn fools, looking at a fragment of that array, in retrospect, to pass judgment, is one of the clearest examples I know of the propensity of mankind to embrace folly, without much understanding, even of that small point, that it is embracing folly.
Of course, when ethnic groups become dominated by a culture of shame and embarrassment for being themselves--either in the past or present--there is major damage to their potential for survival. But that is another subject.
Glad to see you are still fighting for truth and common sense. It sometimes seems nearly hopeless, but we must persist if we will ever have a chance to prevail.

You hold your breath and I’ll count....:)
the danes are going to enjoy the new jihad.
um, some of those people wouldn’t even BE if it weren’t for the raids
