You might be right (not much shocks me anymore). But my instinct tells that it would be too much of a credibility stretch even for them. Nuclear blasts don’t just happen like turnips falling off a truck.

I think they would acknowlege its terrorism and then give us 50 reasons why we had it coming. Problem is, more than half the population would be so out of its mind with shock, fear, and cowardice that they’d buy it—at first. It would take several of them before we sufficiently flushed the moral cholestorol out of our system that we could take action. It may well require the summary execution of collaborators, dupes, and defeatists here at home. And the only possible outcome would be a response so massive that we wouldn’t stop until every single Islamist was dead. Think a conflict on the scale of WWII with modern weapons.

Except that TWA 800 wasn't a terror attack.

That's the problem. The MSM (and some govt officials) treat any action that resembles a terror attack in any way as if it's just an isolated criminal incident or an accident. This practice feeds into conspiracy theories and makes it difficult to tell real attacks from non-attacks.

The scary part would be the government shooting armed citizens that are either mob crazy looters or those looking to protect their homes, everyone will be shooting at each other but not at the terrorists laughing on another continent.

He talked of critical infrastructures like water, electricity, fuel, banks, our food supply, medical services, police and firefighters, being unavailable for weeks or months. He warned of the blind panic that would follow such an explosion. Of the looting, of neighbor turning on neighbor to take what they don’t have for their own survival. Of our economy suffering an economic loss in the trillions of dollars.

All worth it if they take out all of the Congress creatures in the process.
