"His baggage is people like you, hopelessly deranged, destroying our most effective leaders at the direction of the MSM and the Democrats. Take a walk, cool down."

Newt still needs goofs like you to support him. Good for you. In the real world, he is alienating so many on the right and embracing the left like Kerry and the Clintons. Good ole Bob Dole, one of Newt’s old friends recently chastised him for calling all the GOP potus candidates pygmies by saying something like, “I do not know who made him the world spokesperson”. Newt is imploding. BTW, republican turncoats turning on Newt? How about he was the republican version of Bill Clinton and could not keep his zipper up. His behavior cost him his GOP leadership, nothing more.

Kerry and the Clintons. Good ole Bob Dole, one of Newt’s old friends recently chastised him for calling all the GOP potus candidates pygmies by saying something like, “I do not know who made him the world spokesperson”.

Good ole Bob Dole was the one duped by media into believing that he was being a "grownup" in a class of House's "schoolchildren" led by Newt. Bob Dole and several of "revolutionaries" in the House who were envious of Newt sabotaged Newt in 1995's budget standoff and made a deal with Clinton (just a day or two before he was ready to give in on budget, according to later accounts of several people in Clinton's inner circle). Bob Dole went on to embarrass himself, conservatives and Republicans in campaign of 1996, and "Bob Dole knows it and American people know it - Liberal, Liberal, Liberal Bill Clinton".

If we ignore what Newt has to say, we are going to be "Good ole Bob Dole'd" again in 2008. He is actually the only one that I heard having a plan of attack on Democrats instead of usual "rah-rahs" we all like to hear from our candidates.

His behavior cost him his GOP leadership, nothing more.

You mean, teaching a civics class, and getting fined $300K? Writing a bestseller and hounded when he expected to get paid for it? Then all the negative one liners about his personal affairs, and you swallowed it all.

No one can stand up to the Democrat's destruction machine.

“I do not know who made him the world spokesperson”

His intellect, that's who. It's an open political forum, and Newt's in the top tier. He may get frustrated at times, have quirks as we all do, but basically he's on target.

How about he was the republican version of Bill Clinton and could not keep his zipper up. His behavior cost him his GOP leadership, nothing more.

No, the $300K fine did it, the crybaby, zipper, deathbed onslaught was all icing on the cake for the Democrats, and unfortunately you ate it all up, spoon by spoon.

How about he was the republican version of Bill Clinton and could not keep his zipper up.

And Bill is still there, strong as ever, beside his wife. Why is that? Because the Democrats have a better team than we do. They are in it to win, you're in it to lose. Thanks alot.
