We will have a productive, prosperous, democratic partner on our southern border, and the people won’t be so desperate to leave.
In the meantime, we’ll build the fence and make sure they don’t.
Exactly. These are dangerous times we live in.
Good fences make good neighbors!
155,000 non mexicans caught last year crossing. None of this would have happened if people had heeded Hunter 20 years ago.
No he’s not. If I were a dem I’d just for anyone in any district, eh? LOL That way I could vote for Bilbray and Hunter!
We have the same problem in Iraq.
Porous borders. Our problem may yet become as deadly.
To some small extent, it already is.

Thanks!
I’ve had that info for a couple of years, I think. When did the revised Law of the Sea Treaty come out, and is it better?
It has nothing to do with the man himself, his policies, nor anything he has said.
It is solely the result of ignorant, overly-aggresive ‘slash and burn’ supporters of his both here and other places on the net I frequent.
I, of course, would happily vote for Mr. Hunter, if he gets the nomination, but I’m sorry to say, I have an almost instant aversion to even hearing him speak, because I’m just so turned off by some of the support he seems to attract.
Flame if you’d like, but I’m only being honest with ya.
Thank you for having Mr. Hunter on, I am very impressed with his responses.
Them’s pretty tough words for a guy carrying Rudy’s bedpan.
Thanks very much for this informative thread.

>>>When did the revised Law of the Sea Treaty come out, and is it better?
I’ve not had any time to reread the latest one. It isn’t even easy to find on the net.
It was revised before it was reintroduced. I am familiar with the original one; but this one is suppose to be updated.
I give you credit for actually trying to find it and read it. I wonder if it’s awfully long.
I just read the Reader’s Digest version from the pundits.

Hunter has a long history of being on the right side of
many issues.

If you can’t afford to give a lot, give what you can, because it all adds up.
>>>I wonder if its awfully long.
Anything involving the UN is long with flowery language that has to be cross referenced to see what the dual meaning is when applied to other topics.
I’ve not even tried to look at the revised one. I do know that the new L.O.S.T. affects the gold digging treasure hunters.
Have you followed any of the stories of the Odyssey Marine Explorations treasure hunting vessel? John Edwards is an investor in the company.
The Odyssey has been going around since the late 90s and digging up gold from the Titanic, the Holocaust victims, Spain and more.
So, if the NEW L.O.S.T. adversely affects the democrats/left/et al, there must be some good revisions in it.
That is just my thought.
From Post #1, Question #2:
“Hunter: I wrote the law that mandated the construction of the border fence in California that reduced smuggling of people and drugs by more than 90% in our sector. I also wrote the bill, signed into law on October 26, 2006, which extends the California fence 854 miles across the smuggling routes of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. As, President I will build the border fence, all 854 miles, in six months.
If you examine the record throughout my entire career in the US Congress, you will see that no one has put in more effort to force the Federal government to enforce the existing internal laws. As President, I will do so, without question.”
While other politicians TALK tough about border security, Duncan Hunter has been the most EFFECTIVE at getting the job done.
