Thanks for clarifying to issue. I incorrectly thought that there had been multiple convictions in this case. I apologize.

All prosecutions are political and these cases serve the political purpose of appeasing our Iraqi “allies” concerns about supposed mistreatment of Iraqi civilians and combatants.

Bush should order his ministers to dismiss these Haditha cases. That is a political decision. I am hearing that a lot of the evidence is being made up and falsified by the NCIS.

There have been other convictions over supposed atrocities in Iraq. Why not pardon the enlisted involved in Abu Ghraib? After all, if the higher ups knew and were complicit then why should they go scott free while the enlisted get the shaft? End this divisive issue!!-—issue limited pardons to the convicted and lets get on with prosecuting the war instead of our own troops!
