Every person that church ever held a funeral service for was a vile sinner undeserving of any favor from the God of the Universe. That’s the cool thing about grace, isn’t it? If Heaven were merit based, my dog would get in and and we’d sit it out.

Blue pill: Believe what you want, but do the right thing and you’re in heaven.
Merit based seems a bit more logical and fair. But, what do I know about it (hint, no more or less than you).
