It's been 24 hours and I still can't figure out why this idiot wrote this piece, other than to be provocative and get attention, which he obviously has gotten. I don't think this is the kind of attention he'd hoped for, though.

yeah what he wrote was not fair or kind. and it is foolish that he would suggest we need what we are trying to avoid in order to avoid it
