Found it.

Although now that I look at it, they may have actually just dumped thier loads as only 1 looks like it is full, and there is rock already dumped onto the bridge.

Still, the rock, dirt and trucks is all concentrated in one place, and it looks like it may be the span that falls straight down in the video.

Explain to me what you think they were doing dumping rock onto the bridge?

They were resurfacing the bridge. That means they were taking off a layer of rock and then removing the broken pieces. The next portion of the job is to lay a new layer of cement.

I am not an engineer, but looking at this picture, the left side of the collapsed bridge seems to have new asphalt laid on the road surface. I imagine they jack hammered the old - probably damaged - concrete out of the surface, replaced that with new and then added the layer of asphalt.

Knowing what I do about road construction, has anyone thought about the vibrating rollers used to flatten the asphalt? When they paved our street a couple of weeks ago, the one roller shook my entire house.
