The War in Iraq is about 9/11 --- not because Iraq was behind 9/11, but because we want to prevent similar attacks.
So, how many more countries that don't have connections to 9/11 and who aren't harboring al-Qaeda do we need to attack to win the "War On Terror"?
You don't suppose we should perhaps go after the countries that actually are connected to al-Qaeda (say, Waziristan, Saudi Arabia, etc.)?

!. We are going after the country that had connections to 9/11. 2. Iraq was harboring/training al-Queda, (not necessarily for 9/11) before we moved in to enforce the cease fire. 3. We don't go after countries like Saudi Arabia because they are helping us take on al-Qaeda. As has already been explained by myself and several others, the government of Saudi Arabia is as hated and threatened by Al Qaeda as we are.
This may not be relevant, but I find it very telling. After 9/11 we received condolences from all over the world. Even Kim Jong Il and Fidel Castro offered condolences. There were only 2 leaders who publicly applauded the attacks --- Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.
