Remember about 5 years ago when the MSM outlets were full of articles about how the Afghans were the toughest fighters in history and had never been conquered, had repelled the 19th century British military expeditions, driven out the mighty Soviet Red army in disgrace, defeated all invaders for thousands of years, etc, etc ad nauseum? According to the MSM no other fighting men in history have ever been as fierce and formidable as the Afghans. Why, our troops may as well go up against the Klingon Empire as the Afghans according to their propaganda.

Either the MSM were gullible dupes, outright liars, grossly mistaken, or they were trying to discourage the American people and cause them to keep Bush from going after Al Queda and OBL even back then. Mmmm, I wonder which one of those possibilities is correct?
