Prayers continue for the sergeant and his family: Jesus please let the family feel you holding them up. And thank You Jesus that You sent some of the Body to the family, to the sergeant’s bedside to express Your love in physical, tangible ways. Thank You that they were willing and were allowed to “gown up” to be with the sergeant. Thank You that even though I get tired and forgetful, You never do. Grant the family strength and faith to deal with this trial and please grant this young man a full recovery. In all things be glorified Father. I’m asking in the name of the Messiah!

For Sgt. Sam Nichols, his loving wife Erin, and his family:

May the Lord Jesus hold you all close in his loving arms and bring healing to Sgt. Sam by His matchless healing nail scared hands so that a complete and total restoration take place all through Sgt. Nichols body and brain. Lord Jesus, I ask that every nerve fiber, every sinew, every muscle be knit back together in wholeness, and every bone be made whole with the Master’s touch.

My husband and I are praying fervently for Sgt. Sam as we did our own Sgt. son who was also wounded while in Iraq by an IED explosion. We are praying Sgt. Sam as if he were our own son. May the Lord bless all of you for also serving as a loving family that hope and prays. We have known how very hard it is to have a loved one in harms way, but Jesus somehow buffers it and gives more grace for the families that have the Blessed Hope.

Thank you Sgt. Sam for your service to this great nation and for your family that is trusting in Jesus Christ with healing in his hands. May He also hold close the families of the ones that have lost their lives serving their country with honor.

We will continue to pray for all of you until light breaks through and Sgt. Sam is made whole.

With loving regards and Jesus love,
From a family who also serves
