Because they’re all nuts and they like the media attention they get when they do this sort of thing, like when the Amish kids got killed in PA. They were given time on someone’s radio show if they promised not to protest these innocent children. They are truly HATERS.
That was the worst thing that could have been done. The best method to reinforce a behavior in lab rats is to give them intermittent positive reinforcement.
The "Fighting Words Doctrine" mixed in with "Jury Nullification" should be enough to deal with Phelps. That would be negative reinforcement.
That is just weird. I could maybe see them protesting the memorials for the soldiers (though I don’t agree with it), because they are protesting the war, but this is just bizare. People like this should not be allowed to reproduce.
