No offense to you, but why would ANYBODY pay the slightest attention to these fringe kooks?
Wasn't this "Phelps Family of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas" nothing more that a sneaky Democrat political operation to try to smear Christianity? Although there may have been some impact from the soundbites early on, these crackpots have long since "jumped the shark". Time to forget about them.

These people are not worthy of attention or consideration of any kind, but the families of the innocent victims of this tragedy are, as are the victims themselves. These people, whatever their beliefs, are being punished simply for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. To defend the funerals from them and give them attention in that regard is, to me, a much lesser injustice than to let the funerals be ruined and the families be further crushed by their outrageous antics.
