White cats are so pretty, I have had one white, short haired cat. We called her “Popcorn”.....don’t ask me why, guess its was popcorn is white sorta. We all went through the names like Fluffy, Spot and can’t think of all of them. When my husband and I were young and dumb (we called it) we had a little black dog that just happened by, ya know, and one of its back legs shook and I’ll be darned if we didn’t call it “Shaky”. Cruelty? We didn’t think it was......We have had every critter known to mankind.
some names just “fit” and I think are better than cutsie ones.. Some think it cruel but if you love the pet, that is what counts not what you call him/her
A common name for a three legged cat(normally accidents) is tripod.
cruel? to some but to others endearing.
