And then there are the explosives that only sensitive dog noses can detect.

Anyone see any hound dogs sniffing around near the bridge?

That is before they are used. After they detonate it is a very different matter. The combustion products of any nitrogen based explosive are immediately detectable, the force of the explosion disperses them widely, and the original chemical composition is only a secondary effect.

And then there is Gasoline, Diesel Fuel and fertilizer. Seen any tractor trailers burning?
